Lafayette travels to Washington, D.C. for tomorrow morning’s Patriot League Semifinal against host American. The Leopards are seeking their third consecutive Patriot League Tournament title. Top-seeded American beat the fourth seeded Leopards earlier this season in Washington, D.C by a 4-0 final.

The Leopards earned the final spot in the Patriot League Tournament with a come from behind win over Colgate on Oct. 26. After trailing 2-0, Lafayette scored the next four goals on its way to a 4-3 victory. The Maroon and White are led by junior defenders Brittany Blass and Jenna Seybert, who were recently named to the All-League First Team, while classmate Kelsey Mead and senior co-captain Haley Keenan were named to the second team. Blass has a team-high five goals and 13 points, while Seybert, Mead and Keenan have each tallied four goals this season.

American is paced by Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year, Shelly Montgomery. The senior racked up 15 points this season on six goals and three assists. Montgomery was joined on the first team by junior Grace Wilson, who has scored eight goals this season.
