Senior co-captains will compete against U.S. National Team

EASTON, Pa. – Senior co-captains Deanna DiCroce and Emily Valeo have been selected to participate in the 2012 NFHCA Division I Senior Game, it was announced Wednesday.
Both players have been a force for the Lafayette offensive attack in their senior seasons. DiCroce has racked up 11 points in her last two contests and 142 points over her four-year career. Valeo is currently leading the nation in assists per game (1.06).
“It's a great honor for both Deanna and Emily to be selected among the best seniors in the country,” head coach Andrew Griffiths said. “They both thoroughly deserve the recognition, and will be excellent representatives of Lafayette and our team.”
DiCroce and Valeo are two of 38 participants across the country that were selected to compete in the game. The participants will face off against the U.S. Women's National Team as well as against each other in a series of four 25-minute sessions.
The game will take place on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 3 p.m. at Old Dominion University.
