Two Leopards to Compete at Young Women's National Championship

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Junior Theresa Delahanty and senior Cody Hunsicker of the Lafayette field hockey team were invited to take part in USA Field Hockey’s Young Women’s National Championship from June 12-16 in Lancaster, Pa.

Delahanty and Hunsicker are among 102 field hockey players from across the country and just seven Patriot League student-athletes to receive the invitation. The championship serves as a selection opportunity for the U.S. U-21 Women’s National Team and will take place at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Lancaster, Pa.

The field consists of eight teams that are broken up into two pools of four. Each team consists of around 20 athletes. Delahanty will be playing for USA White, while Hunsicker will compete for USA Red in Pool B. To view the full list of teams, click here.
