Field Hockey Lands 13 on PL Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Lafayette field hockey team landed a total of 13 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll for 2017, the league office announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Senior Meg Lillis and junior Rachel Bird each compiled a team-best 3.93 GPA during the fall semester. Five members of the class of 2020 were represented on the honor roll, as Ana Buzzerd and Lisa van der Geest each earned 3.68 GPA’s.

To be eligible for the Fall Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade point average (GPA) in the fall semester and participate in one of the Patriot League’s seven fall championship sports, including men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, football, men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball.
