Lafayette Field Hockey Rolls to 4-0 Victory Over Colgate

HAMILTON, N.Y. (www.lafayette.edu) -Senior Jennifer Stone (Newtown, Pa.) continued her prolific scoring, tallying two goals to lead the Leopards to a 4-0 Patriot League win over Colgate on Saturday.
The Leopards were on the board within the first five minutes of the game off a goal from senior Kristen Chiusano (Medford, N.J.). The second Lafayette goal came in the 40th minute from Melissa Hoh (Zionsville, Pa.).
Stone scored her first goal two minutes later and then secured the victory for the Leopards with another tally in the 52nd minute.
Lafayette goalkeeper Casey Devlin (Devon, Pa.) had two saves in the contest. Colgate's Jacque DeMarco finished with nine.
The Leopards improve to 10-6 overall, 1-3 in the Patriot League with the win. Colgate falls to 5-7, 2-3.
Lafayette will be back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 22 as they take on Rutgers in a non-conference match up at Rappolt Field.
