2017:  Earned Second-Team All-Patriot League honors for the second straight season…named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team…earned PL Defensive Player of the Week honors (10/16)…led the team with six assists and finished tied for third with 10 points…recorded an assist in the win over Hofstra…scored the game-winning goal against Bucknell (10/13)…scored the Leopards’ lone goal against American…recorded two assists against Quinnipiac.. added assists against Holy Cross and Temple to end the season.

2016: Named Second-Team All-Patriot League … tabbed Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week (9/27) and Patriot League Rookie of the Week (11/1) … one of six Lafayette players to start in all 18 games … finished first on the team in assists (5), second in points (11), and tied for third in goals (3) … her five assists was the most by any freshman in the Patriot League … patrolled the backline of the Leopards’ defense that posted a pair of shutouts and allowed one or fewer goals in six outings … scored first collegiate goal in the season opener against Fairfield (8/26) … assisted Amanda Magadan for the game-winning goal against Longwood (9/4) … caged a shot against No. 12 Delaware … found Amanda Magadan for the game-tying goal against Lehigh before scoring the game-winning goal late in the second half (10/28).

At Rijnlands Lyceum:
Part of a regional championship-winning field hockey team…the squad also placed second in the National School Championships…played club field hockey for Leidsche en Oegstgeester Hockey Club.

Personal: Daughter of Catharine and Johannes van der Geest…has two brothers, Jan and Timo…Timo plays tennis at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vt.
