AT TABB: Mills was a four-year letterwinner and co-captain her senior year at Tabb High School. She garnered First Team All-State, First Team All-Region and First Team All-District honors as a midfielder. Her team accumulated a 92-4 record over her four years including three straight Virginia State AA Championships (2009-2011). Mills scored nine goals and had 18 assists her senior season. Her team was the Disney Showcase Silver Medalist in 2012. She was also a four-year starter in soccer where she was named Second Team All-District in 2011. Mills made the honor roll all four years and was in the top 20 percent of her class.
