Kucowski Earns Second ROTW Nod
CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Natalie Kucowski of Lafayette women's basketball was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the second time this season the league office announced on Monday afternoon.
The Philadelphia, Pa. native helped guide the Leopards to a 1-1 split this past week in matchups against Cornell and Drexel. Against the Big Red, Kucwoski notched her second career double-double to help guide the Leopards to victory. The forward finished with a team-high 15 points and a game-high 14 rebounds.
In the matchup with Drexel, Kucwoski scored seven points while ripping down a game-high 14 rebounds. She has finished with double-digit rebounds in all but two games this season and is one of two Patriot League players currently averaging a double-double with 11.3 ppg and 11.4 rpg.
Kucowski and the Leopards look to get back into the win column this Wednesday when they host Princeton in the front half of a double header at 6 p.m. The men take the court following the contest for a showdown with Penn at 8 p.m.
