GoLeopards.com feature story on Smith Senior EXCEL scholar and women's basketball player Amanda Smith '10 has spent the majority of the past year working with Lew Minter, the director of the Lafayette art department's media lab, on restoring pieces of artwork dating more than 500 years ago. Smith, a double major in Art and Economics & Business, and Minter have digitally restored pieces of artwork by Antonio Vivarini and their work is now being recognized internationally. The pieces they have restored are set to appear at the Gemaldegalerie museum in Berlin and a German journal has published their work.
