Women's Basketball Tabs 10 to League Honor Roll

EASTON, Pa. - Ten members of the Lafayette women's basketball team have been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league announced Monday. Freshman Morgan Miller leads the list of honorees, which includes all four academic classes and seven different courses of study.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade-point average of 3.20 or better during the spring semester while participating in one of the Patriot League's sports that holds a winter or spring championship.

Miller, a Mathematics-Economics major, was one of six Patriot League women's basketball student-athletes to earn a 4.0 in the spring semester. Emily Homan is the lone sophomore in the group with a 3.43 GPA in Geology, while Madeline Fahan leads the juniors with a 3.85 grade-point average in Economics. Finally, co-captain Alicia Manning is tops of the seniors with a 3.90 mark in Government & Law.

Recently graduated Samantha Jordan ’13 (International Economics & Commerce), rising seniors Danielle Fiacco (Biology), Kristan Liddle (Neurology) and Kelly Loughney (Mathematics-Economics) and rising sophomores Jazmin Hayes and Annette Snow round out the group of honorees.
