Serowoky Leads Eight on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

EASTON, Pa. - Eight members of the Lafayette women's basketball team have been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced today by the league office. Recent graduate Alexandra Serowoky '12 leads the list of honorees, which includes all four academic classes and seven different courses of study.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade-point average of 3.20 or better during the spring semester while participating in one of the Patriot League's sports that holds a winter or spring championship.
Serowoky, who received a degree in Design Studies in May, was one of three Patriot League women's basketball student-athletes to earn a 4.0 in the spring semester. She finishes her career as a four-time Academic Honor Roll member. Fellow graduates and Melissa Downey '12 (Chemistry) and Sarah McGorry '12 (Economics & Business) were also among the 50 student-athletes lauded by the league.
Rising seniors Samantha Jordan (International Economics & Commerce) and Alicia Manning (Government & Law), rising juniors Danielle Fiacco (Biology) and Kelly Loughney (Engineering/Economics) and rising sophomore Emily Homan (Undeclared) round out the octet of Leopards.
