James Joins Women's Basketball Staff

EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette women’s basketball coach Dianne Nolan added Ross James to her staff on Wednesday. James will serve as the third assistant coach. He most recently served as a graduate assistant coach at Texas Woman’s University.

“After meeting Ross, I knew I wanted him to join our staff at Lafayette.” Nolan said. “His positive presence and basketball IQ came through loud and clear during our interviewing process.”

“As a dedicated professional with a passion for detail and winning attitude, I look forward to having him work with our guards.” Nolan continued. “His outgoing personality is contagious and we welcome him to our Leopard staff.”

James joins the staff after serving as a graduate assistant coach at Texas Woman’s University from 2012-14, while completing his master’s degree in Kinesiology. Prior to his time at Texas Woman’s University, James served as an assistant coach at Lake Country Christian School. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from Millsaps College in 2009.
