EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette women’s basketball coach Dianne Nolan announced the addition of C.K. Calhoun, as her second assistant on Wednesday. Calhoun spent the previous two seasons as the head coach at Shenandoah University in Virginia.

“I am extremely excited to welcome C.K. Calhoun to our Leopard basketball family.” Nolan said. “She is highly energetic, passionate and a rising star in the coaching profession. Her ability to recruit, teach and positively impact student-athletes stood out during our search.”

“C.K. brings a successful basketball background and a strong desire to win to our Lafayette program.” Nolan continued. “We are pleased Lafayette is the next step of her basketball journey.”

While at Shenandoah, Calhoun was responsible for all aspects of the women’s basketball program. Prior to her time at Shenandoah, Calhoun was an assistant coach at Randolph-Macon College from 2010-2012 and at Marymount University from 2008-2010.

Calhoun earned her master’s degree from Frostburg State University, while serving as a graduate assistant on the women’s basketball team. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design at Marymount, where she was a member of two Capital Athletic Conference Championship teams in 2004 and 2006, with the 2004 team making it to the NCAA Division III Elite Eight.
