Homan Garners Second-Team Honors

EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette women’s basketball junior Emily Homan was named to the All-Patriot League Second Team, the Patriot League announced on Tuesday. Homan led the Leopards with 13.6 points per game this season, including 14.0 points per contest during league play.

The Upper Darby, Pa. native was a two-time Patriot League Player of the Week during the season and poured in a career-high 32 points at Holy Cross and grabbed a career-best 16 boards at Colgate. Homan led the Leopards with six double-doubles this season.

A Geology major, Homan became the 16th member of Lafayette’s 1,000-point club in her 83rd game. The junior currently ranks 15th in scoring in program history.

Lafayette opens the Patriot League Tournament in the quarterfinals Thursday night at No. 6 American. Opening tip set for 7 p.m.
