Nolan recorded 456 wins during her 28-year tenure at Fairfield

EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette women's basketball coach Dianne Nolan has been named to the 2014 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Honor Class. Nolan coached at Fairfield University for 28 seasons prior to her time with the Leopards.
At Fairfield Nolan posted a program-record 456 victories and led the Stags to four NCAA Tournament appearances and one WNIT berth in her 28-season stint as head coach of the Fairfield women's basketball team. Nolan guided the Stags to three MAAC championships and was named "Coach of the Year" in the MAAC five times.
The MAAC Honor Roll is part of the 600 square foot "MAAC Experience" display at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass. Each year one honoree selected by the MAAC Council of Presidents joins one male and one female honoree from each of the 11 MAAC institutions. The 23-member 2014 induction class will be enshrined to the MAAC Honor Roll on March 8, 2014 at the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame Court of Dreams. The Honorees' names will be added to the "MAAC Experience" exhibit.
