Contact Coach Moore
Shireyll Moore is in her second season at Lafayette. In addition to her contributions to the recruiting and scouting efforts, Moore works with the Leopards' wings and small forwards and coordinates team travel. Before coming to College Hill, Moore spent the 2009-10 basketball season as the assistant girls' basketball coach at her alma mater of Mount Vernon (N.Y.) High School and also has numerous camp coaching experiences. Moore gained collegiate playing experience at Fairfield University. The Stags were 40-22 in her final two seasons, each of which ended in the semifinals of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament. Moore's 117 games played at Fairfield rank her among the program's all-time leaders. The native of Mount Vernon, N.Y. graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Fairfield and recently earned a Master's degree at West Virginia University, where her father, Lowes, earned All-America honors prior to a career in the NBA. At Fairfield, Moore was a Dean's List student, a three-time MAAC All-Academic Team selection and also represented the University at an NCAA Leadership Conference in 2008. |
