Kim Benton recently completed her second season on College Hill as a member of Dianne Nolan's staff. Benton works primarily with the Leopards' guards and is an integral part of the scouting and recruiting efforts. She also coordinates the team's film exchange.

Benton came to Lafayette fresh off a collegiate playing career at the University of Massachusetts. Benton, the all-time leader with 119 games played for the Minutewomen, also ranks fifth in program history in three-point field goals made (128) and attempted (420).

She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a minor in Education.

A native of Springfield, Pa., Benton played scholastically at Cardinal O'Hara, where she led her team to a pair of Philadelphia Catholic League titles. Benton served as an assistant coach with the Philadelphia Comets AAU girls' basketball club for four seasons and also spent time as a site director of the Blue Chip Basketball Tournament at Penn State from 2007-09.
