EASTON, Pa. – The Lafayette Maroon Club is holding a 2012 Year End Challenge for the chance to win a tailgate party for you and your Lafayette team. The sport with the highest percentage of alumni making a gift of any size by Dec. 31 will receive a tailgate party courtesy of the Maroon Club General Fund at one of its games.

All participants making a gift of $50 or more during this time period for the winning sport will also receive a special Maroon Club branded prize.

In addition to supporting sport-specific initiatives, as it always has, the Maroon Club is now raising funds to support merit-based athletic scholarships and providing funding for all Lafayette student-athletes to participate in career development and leadership advancement training.

The Maroon Club enhances programs such as strength and conditioning and athletic training, brings alumni of all sports together at special events throughout the year, and expands the visibility of Lafayette athletics by providing funding for the Lafayette Sports Network, GoLeopards.com and other Maroon Club communications.
