Goldstein and Gelbman Collect Honor Roll Recognition

EASTON, Pa. – Two members of the Lafayette men’s tennis team, Brandon Goldstein and Scott Gelbman, earned a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the conference office announced Tuesday.
Eligible student-athletes must have earned a grade-point average of 3.20 or higher in the spring semester while competing in a winter or spring Patriot League-sponsored sport.
Goldstein, a sophomore Economics major, posted a 4.0 grade-point average in the spring semester and was recently honored with Academic All-Patriot League recognition. The Livingston, N.J. native carries a 3.86 overall GPA and posted a 4-9 record in singles and doubles competition this past year.
Gelbman recently graduated with a Government & Law degree after recording a 3.25 GPA during the spring season. A four-time member of the Academic Honor Roll, he was a nominee for Lafayette’s Charles L. Albert 1908 Award and finished his career with 52 combined victories in singles and doubles play. Gelbman hails from Pleasantville, N.Y. and left College Hill with a 3.05 overall GPA.
