Men's Tennis Sweeps Rider

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – The Lafayette men’s tennis team swept Rider 7-0 on Wednesday afternoon in non-conference action.
Brandon Goldstein ousted Rollie Malfitano in the No. 1 singles match 6-1, 6-0, while Brian Pinkard downed Chanton Phan 6-2, 6-3 at second singles. The No. 3 singles competition saw Brian Stefanowicz take down Nick Lubold 6-3, 6-2. At fourth singles, Jake Lazer dropped Adam Levi 6-1, 6-0 and Chris Matturri overtook Sean Sweeney 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 singles. T.J. Morgan upended Edwin Chogllo in straight sets to claim the individual victory at the No. 6 position.
In doubles action, Goldstein and Stefanowicz knocked off Malfitano and Lubold 8-0. Pinkard and Lazer defeated Phan and Levi 8-2 and Matturri and Morgan fought off Sweeney and Matt Begley 8-1.

The Maroon and White finish the regular season with three straight home contests against Patriot League foes, starting with Bucknell on Sunday at 10 a.m.
