Men's Tennis Sweeps Holy Cross

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Lafayette men's tennis team earned its first Patriot League win of the spring on Saturday morning, sweeping Holy Cross, 7-0, at West Point. The Leopards won all of their matches in straight sets.

Lafayette evens its record to 1-1 in Patriot League play, bouncing back from a 5-2 loss yesterday at Army.

Individually, Doug Gallagher and Will Mercorella were each unbeaten for the Leopards for the second straight day. Gallagher won at the No. 2 singles spot, while Mercorella took a victory at No. 6 singles. The duo also teamed up for a win at No. 2 doubles.

The Leopards are back in action on Tuesday, March 29 at historic rival Lehigh.
