Fairfield Upends Men's Tennis, 5-2

EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette men's tennis team got singles wins from Doug Gallagher and Andrew Morris but fell to visiting Fairfield, 5-2, at the Northwood Racquet Club in Easton on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, Lafayette drops to 3-2 in dual matches this year and 1-2 in the spring season. The Stags remain unbeaten at 5-0 in dual matches. Gallagher's victory came in straight sets - 7-6 (6), 6-2 - at No. 1 singles, while Morris won - 6-1, 6-4 - at the No. 6 spot. Fairfield swept its way to the doubles point, eking out wins of 8-4, 8-6 and 8-6. The Leopards begin Patriot League play on Sunday at West Point against Holy Cross and host Army. Results
