Men's Tennis Falls in Brooklyn, 6-1

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Freshman John Yurconic of the Lafayette men’s tennis team notched the team’s lone point in a 6-1 defeat at St. Francis Brooklyn on Sunday afternoon.

Yurconic fought for the point at the second singles spot, winning in three sets. The first set win came in a tiebreaker by an 8-6 margin, but he dropped the second set, 6-3. In the third, though, he was able to come out on top by a 6-4 score to finish it off.

Below are the full results from Sunday’s match. Lafayette returns to Northwood Racquet Club on Saturday, welcoming Siena at 4 p.m.
