Men's Tennis Sweeps Muhlenberg

EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette men's tennis team returned to the win column on Friday night at Northwood Racquet Club with a 7-0 sweep of visiting Muhlenberg. The Leopards took all six singles matches in straight sets and won each of three doubles contests, 8-2. With the win, Lafayette improves to 3-1 in dual matches this year and 1-1 in the spring season. Doug Gallagher, Brandon Goldstein, Will Mercorella, Scott Gelbman, James Oliver and Andrew Morris were victorious in singles matches for the Leopards. Gallagher and Morris, Goldstein and Oliver and Gelbman and Matthew Scheps comprised the three triumphant doubles pairs. Alex Charchalis and Jake Lazer also prevailed, 8-0, in an exhibition doubles match that did not factor into the overall scoring. The Leopards return to the court on Saturday, Feb. 25 for a 2:30 p.m. match against Fairfield. Results
