Men's Tennis Opens Spring Season with 7-0 Win at St. Francis (Pa.)

LORETTO, Pa. ( - Lafayette swept all six singles matches in straight sets to complete a 7-0 blanking of St. Francis (Pa.) in men's tennis action on Saturday.

Andrew Mott had a pair of wins, claiming a 6-1, 6-0 victory at first singles and teaming with Jeremy Fehrs for an 8-4 win at first doubles. Fehrs won his No. 3 singles match 6-1, 6-2.

Brett Kraft and Paul Guarino posted an 8-3 win at second doubles. Kraft had a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 2 and Guarino won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4.

Alex Goergen was the other multiple winner for the Leopards, with an 8-0 win at third doubles and a 6-1, 6-2 decision at No. 5 singles.
