Men's Swimming Falls to Drexel, 148-91

EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's men's swimming and diving team dropped a 148-91 decision to Drexel in Ruef Natatorium on Saturday.

Chris Grabowski (Port Carbon, Pa./Pottsville Area) was a double-winner for the Leopards, claiming wins in the 1,000 free (10:01.96) and 200 IM (1:58.13). He added a second-place finish in the 500 free.

Other first-place finishers for Lafayette were Jakub Pritz (Holmes, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) in the 50 free (22.15), Steve Berkowitz (Scotch Plains,N.J./Scotch Plains Fanwood) in the 200 butterfly (1:59.51) and Greg Van Volkenburg (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep) in the 200 backstroke (1:57.96). Van Volkenburg also added a second in the 200 free.

The Leopards return to action next Friday, visiting Lehigh for a dual meet at 7 p.m.
