Lafayette Men's Swimming Drops Meet Against Rider, 163-128

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette swimmer Chris Grabowski turned in three first-place finishes as the Leopards fell to Rider, 163-128 on Saturday. Grabowski won the 400 free, 800 free and 200 individual medley.

John Veltri and Jakub Pritz added first-place finishes in the 50 free and 100 free, respectively. The Leopards' other wins came in the 200 medley and 400 free relays.

Greg Van Volkenburg collected two second-place times in the 200 free and 200 backstroke, while Justin Gaudreau placed second in the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events.

Lafayette (0-1) hosts the Lafayette Invitational at the Kirby Sports Center at 9 a.m. on Oct. 26.
