ANNAPOLIS, Md. ( - Three more women's school records fell on the final day of competition at the Patriot League Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships at Navy.

Liz Helwig (Basking Ridge, N.J./Madison) set her third individual school record of the weekend, touching the wall in 52.95 in the 100 freestyle prelims.

Jen Totten (Mantua, N.J./West Deptford) broke her own school record in the prelims of the 200 breaststroke, then broke it again later in the day in the finals. Her time of 2:24.61 in the finals was good for fifth place overall.

Tory Littlefield (Duxbury, Mass./Duxbury) set a new school record in the 200 butterfly, touching the wall in 2:09.52 for fourth place.


The men's competition was again highlighted by Chris Grabowski (Port Carbon, Pa./Pottsville Area), who took second in the 200 backstroke. His time of 1:49.54 is the second-fastest all-time at Lafayette.

Lafayette's 400 freestyle relay team of Grabowski, Jakub Pritz (Holmes, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara), Stephen Connlain (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) and Greg Van Volkenburg (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep) took fourth in 3:07.01.

Lafayette's men's and women's teams both finished seventh in the team standings. Navy won the men's title with 810 points, cruising past Bucknell's runner-up total of 530. The Leopards tallied 262 points. Bucknell won the women's competition with 715 points, while Navy was runner-up with 521.5. Lafayette accumulated 275 points.
