EASTON, Pa. - Junior forward Mark Price (Dublin, Ohio/Scioto) has earned Scholar All-East Region Honorable Mention from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Price was one of five Patriot League student-athletes tabbed for the inclusion on the list.

Price, who holds a 3.68 GPA while majoring in Mathematics and Economics & Business, adds the NSCAA distinction to ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District II Men's Soccer First Team recognition he earned in November. Price is a also two-time selection for the Patriot League Academic Honor roll which singles out student-athletes who earn a varsity letter and maintain a 3.2 GPA in the competition season.

In his second season in the starting lineup, Price finished second on the team in scoring with five goals and an assist for 11 points. He was named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 11 after netting three goals in two games. Price was twice named Rookie of the Week in 2004.

Price helped guide Lafayette to an 11-4-2 record, the program's fourth straight double-digit win season. During Price's three seasons on College Hill, the Leopards are a combined 36-15-4 and have advanced to the Patriot League title game in two of those seasons.

Lafayette continues to be the model of success in the Patriot League, claiming a conference-best six Patriot League men's soccer crowns. The Leopards advanced to the 2006 Patriot League Tournament title game, but saw their season come to an end in penalty kicks.
