- Lafayette kicked off the Patriot League season on the right foot this past weekend, winning its first game of the season against Bucknell by a 1-0 score. Senior captain Christian Moyse scored the game-winner off a corner in the 42nd minute, heading the service into the right-side netting for the game's only goal.

- The Leopards are starting to get their full compliment of players back and healthy, seeing the return of junior Josh Kruczek against Bucknell and senior goalkeeper Brad Seeber close to a return of his own. In Seeber's absence, classmate Brian Ehrlich has performed admirably in the net, recording his first clean sheet of the season on Saturday.

- The Maroon and White return to Oaks Stadium on Wednesday for their next Patriot League tilt, hosting Army West Point for a 7 p.m. contest.
