EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette men’s soccer head coach Dennis Bohn announced another signing on Thursday afternoon, inking Matt Rytel to the Class of 2020.
Rytel, a Pittsburgh, Pa. native, was his team’s leading scorer in three out of four years at Shady Side Academy. He earned All-Section and All-WPIAL honors in 2014 and 2015, and was an All-State performer during his senior season.
While at Shady Side, Rytel’s team made a playoff appearance in all four seasons, including winning a section championship in 2013. Rytel was the team captain and MVP in 2015, while also earning Pittsburgh Post-Gazette All-Area accolades.
