EASTON, Pa. – Senior Blake Fink was recognized as an Honorable Mention choice on the 2012 NSCAA Scholar All-America University Division All-East Region Team, announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Fink, a Government & Law major, posted a 3.75 cumulative grade-point average and earned All-East honors for the second consecutive season. The Westampton, N.J. native was also awarded a spot on the Academic All-Patriot League Team and was an integral piece on Lafayette’s 2012 Patriot League championship-winning squad.

The Leopards’ forward played in 19 games, making 17 appearances in the starting 11, and contributed six points on the year. He scored twice and added two assists, with tallies in Lafayette’s non-conference wins over Penn and Mount St. Mary’s.

Fink and the rest of his Lafayette teammates will be honored at halftime of the men’s basketball game against American on March 2.
