Men's Soccer Drops 1-0 Decision to Eastern Illinois

EVANSTON, Ill. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's men's soccer team suffered its first loss of 2003 on Sunday, dropping a 1-0 decision to Eastern Illinois on day two of the Northwestern Lakefront Soccer Classic.
The Panthers' Chad Dumonceaux netted the lone goal of the match at the 75:02 mark.
Lafayette (4-1-1 overall) was represented on the All-Tournament Team by senior forward Jamie Mullarkey (Cramlington, England/Cramlington) and senior goalkeeper Jay Freedman (Dix Hills, N.Y./Half Hollow East).
The Leopards finished third in the tournament, behind Northwestern and Eastern Illinois, which both posted 1-0-1 records.
Lafayette returns to action on Wednesday, traveling to Albany for a 4 p.m. match.
