Men’s Lax Leads PL with 33 on Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Lafayette men’s lacrosse program placed a league-high 33 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Freshman Tyler Furlong and senior Matthew Cortese were the perfect Leopards with 4.00 grade-point average during the spring semester. Additionally, 11 other Lafayette student-athletes recorded GPA’s above 3.70, including Matt Close (3.78), Dillon Confalone (3.85), Jason Corcoran (3.93), Zane Crandall (3.93), Julian Lorenzen (3.78), Jack Lydon (3.78), Scott McAvoy (3.93), Seth Obadia (3.93), Henry Vido (3.78) and Conor Walters (3.70).

To be eligible for the spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League’s winter or spring championship sports.
