EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette men’s lacrosse senior goalie Jake Hyatt was named to the Patriot League All-Academic Team, the League announced on Wednesday afternoon. This is Hyatt’s third consecutive selection to the squad.

Hyatt started 12 games for the Leopards this season, recording 120 saves, while holding an 11.53 goals against average. The Ridgefield, Conn. native is a dual major in Engineering and Economics and holds a 3.57 cumulative GPA.

The Academic All-Patriot League Team honors student-athletes who excel in their sport and the classroom, and the size equals the sport's first-team All-Patriot League composition. Sports information directors, who cannot vote for their own student-athletes, select the award winners. Student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade-point average and be a starter or key reserve.

Lafayette Athletics, as a partner in the mission of the College, provides an incredibly effective learning experience for student-athletes through competitive NCAA Division I athletics. Lafayette sponsors 23 varsity sports with more than 600 student-athletes.
