Opening Faceoff

- Lafayette returns to Patriot League play for Legends Day at Fisher Stadium against Bucknell. During halftime, the Leopards will honor Dave Burnett ’81, Mark Lotz ’83 and Jamie Murray ’91, the 2017 inductees into the Legends of Lafayette Lacrosse.

- The contest will be the first of a doubleheader at Fisher Stadium as part of Auction Weekend. The silent auction will take place throughout the game in the Wilson Room of Pfenning Alumni Center. All proceeds raised will be split evenly between the men’s and women’s lacrosse programs and all bidding can be made through the Handbid App. Download the app, register your profile and join in!

- The Leopards are coming off their second win of the 2017 season, dropping NJIT by a 12-11 score on Tuesday evening in Easton. Sophomore Conor Walters was the engine for the offense, registering six points on three goals and three assists.

- Lafayette hits the road for its final game of the 2017 season, traveling to Hamilton, N.Y. on Saturday for a 7 p.m. matchup with Colgate.

Opening Draw

- Lafayette returns to Fisher Stadium looking to start a new streak as it dropped its first Patriot League game of the season last time out at Boston U. Holy Cross enters at 1-4 in league play, falling to Loyola in its last contest, 18-11.

- The Leopards defeated Holy Cross by a 13-5 score in Worcester, Mass. a year ago. Lafayette's success came from its efficient offense on that afternoon, scoring 13 goals on just 22 shots in the ga,e. 

- The Leopards host archrival Lehigh in their next contest on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
