Opening Faceoff

- Lafayette returns to Patriot League play after two games out of conference, hosting Holy Cross on Saturday for Senior Day. The senior class of Erik Cannon, Dillon Confalone, Matthew Cortese, Keegan Hickey, Eric Joseph, Kevin Lewis, Gerard Mahoney, Charles McCooe, Declan McGuire and Jason Sands will be honored prior to today’s contest for their contributions to the program over the last four seasons.

- Cortese made seven saves in his 2017 debut in the last game, but it wasn’t enough as the
Leopards fell to Monmouth on Tuesday evening at Fisher Stadium, 9-8. Lewis posted a hat trick to lead the Leopards offensively, while freshman John Becker put together a strong performance at the X, winning 13-of-20 faceoffs.

- The Leopards go back out of conference for their next contest, the third in a four-game homestand. NJIT comes to College Hill on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. tilt before Lafayette hosts Bucknell on Saturday with opening faceoff set for 1 p.m.
