Bock Takes Home League Offensive Honors

EASTON, Pa. – Sophomore attackman Brian Bock scored nine goals and tallied three assists in two games for the Lafayette men’s lacrosse team to earn the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week award, the League announced Monday.
The Collegeville, Pa. native tallied five goals in an 11-9 loss to Delaware on Tuesday and notched four goals, three assists and two ground balls in a 12-11 defeat at Navy on Saturday afternoon.
“Brian has worked extremely hard to improve his game over the last few weeks,” head coach Jim Rogalski said. “His commitment and determination have paid off with two great games in a row and his leadership will continue to bring our offense together.”
Bock currently sits fourth in the Patriot League in points per game with 3.86 per contest (27 on the year). Additionally, Bock finished the week at the top of the League rankings in man-up goals with six in seven games played.
The Leopards return to action on Saturday as they host Bucknell at 7 p.m. inside Fisher Stadium for their Patriot League home opener.
