All-Access Goes All-League
Feb. 23, 2011
EASTON, Pa. - Each of Lafayette's home Patriot League contests in lacrosse, baseball and softball will be streamed live on LSN All-Access this spring, the Lafayette Sports Network (LSN) announced on Wednesday. In addition, live audio of select road games will also be available for men's and women's lacrosse via LSN All-Access.
The schedule kicks off with live audio of two contests: a men's lacrosse rematch from last year's Patriot League semifinal, as the Leopards travel to Navy on March 12. Eleven days later, the Leopard women's lacrosse squad travels to Happy Valley to take on Penn State.
The first full audio/video webcast is set for March 19 when the men's lacrosse squad battles Bucknell. Last season, the then 11th ranked Leopards defeated No. 18 Bison 16-15 in Lewisburg, Pa. Gametime is set for 1 p.m. inside Fisher Stadium.
The Leopard baseball team will make its first appearance on LSN All-Access April 9 and 10, with doubleheaders against archrival Lehigh scheduled for each day. Four-games series against Holy Cross and Army are also scheduled for the 2011 campaign.
The Lafayette softball team, under the tutelage of first-year head coach Meaghan Asselta, will have both home Patriot League series available on LSN All-Access. The Leopards will host Holy Cross on April 2 and 3 and two weeks later welcome Army on April 16 and 17.
Leopard fans unable to make it to College Hill on April 16 are encouraged to get comfortable in front of the computer, as a record six games will be available on LSN All-Access, including the Lafayette football team taking part in the annual Maroon vs. White spring game.
Available through GoLeopards.com, LSN All-Access is a subscription-based platform that webcasts over 100 events throughout the 2010-11 academic calendar. Monthly subscriptions are $9.95/month while annual subscriptions are $79.95. The CBS College Sports XXL package, which includes content from all CBS College Sports Online member schools, is available for $119.95 annually or $14.95 per month.
