Lewisburg, Pa. – The Lafayette men’s lacrosse team fell to Bucknell in Patriot League action on Friday night. Morgan Westby netted the lone goal for the Leopards in the loss.

Lafayette moved to 2-10 overall and 1-6 in League play, while the Bison improved to 7-6 this season including a 4-3 mark in the Patriot League. Jake Hyatt made 11 saves in the loss, while Adam Broeckaert won 11-of-18 from the faceoff dot.

Bucknell jumped out to an early 3-0 lead with five minutes to play in the first quarter. Westby found the back of the net for the Leopards with 3:44 on the clock in the opening frame before the Bison ended the game on a 10-0 run.

The Leopards will conclude the regular season at home against Lehigh on Friday, April 18. The game will have an admission fee of $5 for bleacher seats and $10 for chairback seats at the gate. Fans should enter Fisher Stadium through Gate #2. Maroon & White faculty, staff and students with a current ID will receive free admission.
