Matt Musci enters his fifth season under Head Coach Jim Rogalski and second as the program's Associate Head Coach, handling the Lafayette offense and the program's recruiting efforts.

Before arriving on College Hill, Musci spent the previous four seasons as the first assistant lacrosse coach at St. Leo University in St. Leo, Fla. where he was the defensive coordinator for three seasons before taking over as offensive coordinator this past season. He was also in charge of recruiting and travel planning in addition to helping maintain St. Leo's scholarship budget.

Under the guidance of Head Coach Brad Jorgensen, Musci was on the sidelines for St. Leo's Deep South Conference Tournament Championships in 2009 and 2010. In those two championship seasons, St. Leo finished ranked in the top-10 nationally in Team Defense PPG. For his efforts in 2010, Musci was a finalist for the USILA Division II Assistant Coach of the Year. He also graduated with a Masters of Business Administration from St. Leo in May of 2011.

Prior to his time at St. Leo, Musci was an undergraduate assistant coach at Drexel, his alma mater. He graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology after serving as a team captain during his final two years in Philadelphia. Musci played for two seasons ('02-'04) under Rogalski during his tenure as an assistant at Drexel.

A native of Garden City Park, N.Y., Musci was selected to the USILA North/South Senior All-Star team and was the Most Valuable Player during his senior year. He was also named the program's Most Outstanding Player in 2005. The 2006 Colonial Athletic Association Scholar Athlete was also the winner of the Randy Voight Coaches Award in 2004.
