Six Earn Spots on PL Academic Honor Roll

EASTON, Pa. - Six members of the Lafayette golf team were honored with places on the 2013 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the League office announced today. Senior captain David Kafafian and junior Josh Feinberg led the way with 4.00 GPAs.
Eligible student-athletes must have earned a grade-point average of 3.20 or higher in the spring semester while competing in a winter or spring Patriot League-sponsored sport.
Kafafian, a double major in Economics and Government & Law, receives the honor on the heels of earning a spot on the Academic All-Patriot League Team last month.
Joining Kafafian and Feinberg, also a double major in Government & Law and Anthropology & Sociology, on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll are freshmen Ben DeForest and Travis Ricca as well as sophomores Robert Dyer and Mike Zausmer. DeForest is an Engineering major who earned a 3.93 GPA, while Dyer and Ricca both major in Economics and earned 3.93 and 3.25 GPAs, respectively. A Philosophy major, Zausmer earned a 3.77 GPA.
Lafayette ranked third in the Patriot League with six honorees as Bucknell and Navy each had eight.
