Dyer Earns Spot on Academic All-League Team

EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette junior Economics major Robert Dyer earned a spot on the 2014 Academic All-Patriot League squad, as announced today by the Patriot League office.

Dyer holds a 3.92 cumulative GPA and earned a spot on the Patriot League's Academic Honor Roll each of the past two years.  

The Dayton, Ohio native finished in a tie for 32nd at last weekend's Patriot League Championship, shooting rounds of 82, 75 and 78 in the 54-hole event on the 6,142-yard, par-70 West Point Golf Course in West Point, N.Y.  His best finish this spring was T31 at the Lafayette Invitational when he fired rounds of 80 and 75 at Silver Creek Country Club.  He matched his best round of the spring season with a 75 in the Lafayette vs. Lehigh rivalry match at Silver Creek.

This is the third time in the past four years that Lafayette has a golfer on the Acacemic All-Patriot League team as David Kafafian '13 earned a spot on the squad in 2011 and 2013.
