Cornell Fall Invitational - Final Round:

Ithaca, N.Y. - Lafayette sophomore Patrick Luther tied for 34th at the Cornell Fall Invitational, leading Lafayette to a 13th-place finish. Luther shot three rounds in the 70s (77-77-79--233) to lead the Leopards on the par-71, 6,904-yard Robert Trent Jones Golf Course.

Towson (895) won the event, while Drexel (900) was second, host Cornell (902) finished third and Dartmouth (903) ended up fourth. Christopher Crawford of Drexel won the individual title with a three-under total of 210.

Lafayette's Garrett Sweeney (78-82-77--237) finished 50th while Chad Bell (86-73-81--240) tied for 60th, Phil Rosengarden (79-80-88--247) tied for 71st and Ben DeForest (87-80-83--250) tied for 73rd.

Lafayette will compete in the Patriot Intercollegiate Sept. 28-29 hosted by George Mason at Laurel Hill Golf Club.
