Lafayette Finishes Fourth at Rutgers Invite

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Patriot League Champions opened its 2010 season at the Rutgers Invitational over the weekend. Tyler Ostrovsky finished sixth overall (216) to help lead the Leopards to a fourth place finish (292).
Newberry College won the 17-team event with a five-under 847 (284-283-280) on the par 71, 6,337-yard course.
Orstrovsky paced the Leopards with a 216 (69-70-77), while Erik Adolfsson finished with a 222 (75-79-68). Dave Kafafian (227), Josh Fienberg (229) and Cody Sumpter (232) rounded out the weekend for the Maroon and White.
Lafayette will head to Lewisburg, Pa. to compete in the Bucknell Invitational on Sept. 17/18.
