Severe Weather Suspends Play at Navy Fall Classic
ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Severe weather kept the 15-team field competing at the Navy Fall Classic in Annapolis from completing the first round on Saturday, as golfers were pulled from the course after a tornado warning was issued followed by torential rainfall which left the course unplayable.
Fifteen golfers were left stranded with just one hole remaining in Saturday's opening round. Action will resume on Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. with the completion of the first round, followed by 18 holes of play en route to crowning the 2012 winner of the Navy Fall Classic.
