ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Lafayette golf team combined to shoot a 617, finishing the Navy Spring Invitational in a tie for eighth place at Naval Academy Golf Course on Sunday afternoon. The teams battled difficult conditions, including wind and rain, throughout the final rounds of the 36-hole event.

Penn won the overall team title, finishing four shots ahead of George Washington, which placed second. The Quakers combined to shoot a 593 for the weekend, led by tournament medalist Max Marsisco, who carded a 143, after a final round total of 70.
