Final Results 
ANNAPOLIS, Md. -
The Lafayette golf team combined to shoot a 617, finishing the Navy Spring Invitational in a tie for eighth place at Naval Academy Golf Course on Sunday afternoon. The teams battled difficult conditions, including wind and rain, throughout the final rounds of the 36-hole event.
Penn won the overall team title, finishing four shots ahead of George Washington, which placed second. The Quakers combined to shoot a 593 for the weekend, led by tournament medalist Max Marsisco, who carded a 143, after a final round total of 70. Marsisco, teammate Scott Williams, Georgetown's Brian Dorfman and George Washington's Tyler Fuqua were the only golfers to fire rounds under par, as each carded scores of 70.
Individually for Lafayette, Rob Robertson paced the Leopards with his two-day total of 152. The senior opened the event with a two-over 73 on Saturday and shot a 79 on Sunday to tie for 20th. One shot behind Robertson was classmate Carter Rufe, who tied for 29th with rounds of 76 and 77, respectively.
Rounding out the scoring for Lafayette was junior David Kafafian and freshman Mike Zausmer. Kafafian, who tied for 45th, combined his first-round 79 with a 77 on the final 18 holes for a total of 156. Zausmer scored an 80 on Saturday and coupled that effort with an 81 on Sunday. Also competing for Lafayette was Phil Rosengarden.
Lafayette's final tune-up prior to next weekend's Patriot League Championship is scheduled for Tuesday at the Lehigh Valley Cup.
