Leopards 13th After Round 1 of FDU Invite

Lafayette's golf team sits in 13th place following the opening round of the 2014 FDU Invitational led by junior Kirk Massie who shot a six-over 77 on the 6,734-yard, par-71 Crystal Springs Golf Club in Hamburg, N.J.
Final round action begins Monday at 8 a.m.
Binghamton leads the team scoring by two strokes over host Fairleigh Dickinson, recording a 300 to FDU's 302. Hofstra is 13 strokes back at 313 while Towson (316) and Central Connecticut (317) round out the top five. Lafayette's team score in the opening round was 339.
Individually, FDU's U Minn Woon is alone atop the leaderboard after carding an even-par 71.
