EASTON, Pa. - Rookies Erik Adolfsson and Tyler Ostrovsky tied each other as the Leopards top-finishers after the final round on Sunday at Center Valley Country Club. Adolfsson (75+77) and Ostrovsky (76+76) helped Lafayette improve four places to tie with Hofstra University in tenth with a team score of 620.

Freshman Cody Sumpter shot an 80 on the second day to finish with a combined score of 157. Junior Steve Melnic (80+79) shaved a stroke of his effort on the first day for a 159 total.

Senior Brandon Mitchel (73+83) had a score of 156 after two rounds. Classmate Chris Johnston (84+84) and freshman Reed Valutas (83+83) shot identically on Saturday and Sunday to finish with scores of 168 and 166, respectively. Rookie Andrew Carlins (90+84) improved his effort on Saturday to register a score 174.

Bucknell (303+291) took the title with a team score of 594, moving up from eighth place after day one. The Bison had three golfers finish in the top 20 with Stuart Lindgren leading the group tied for third (72+73=145) with Kevin Farrell of Mount St. Mary's (72+73=145). Mike Magalski of St. Francis (Pa.) placed first among the 130 field of golfers one-under par (72+71=143).
