Final Results

EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette golf team finished second overall at the Lafayette Invitational on Sunday afternoon. The Leopards, who finished in first on the opening day, closed out the weekend with a score of 595 (294/301).

Junior Carter Rufe led all players finishing four under par (69/71) carding a 140 for the weekend. Iona College took first place after shooting 288 on the second day (301 the first day) to finish six strokes less than the Leopards.

Senior Tyler Ostrovsky finished in a tie for fourth place with a 145 (72/73). Carding a 155, Cody Sumpter finished tied for 30th place.

Rounding out the Leopards was Erik Adolfsson (158) tied for 41st and Chip Culp (161) tied for 56th.

Lafayette is back in action on Thursday as they play in the Monmouth Quad Match. Tee-off is set for 1:30 p.m.
